On a lovely September bank holiday afternoon the two houses came together to celebrate their love of tea and cakes with a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea party. There were beautiful china plates loaded with tempting cakes and sandwiches galore, along with teapots full of lovely tea to help the cakes and sandwiches go down. There was lots of chat and catching up as everyone relaxed with tummies full of yummy cakes before the clearing up started. Thank goodness for dishwashers. A splendid afternoon was had by all.
