Capers of the Wild Bunch Outing…Yippee
What a special day our Hayfield cowboys (& cowgirls) had. Everyone was excited and anticipation grew as we arrived at our destination. They say variety is the spice of life and our special pony day certainly lived up to its name. They experienced a tour of the stables and saw so many beautiful horses, but most of all they loved the cute little shetlands and posed and smiled as if there was no tomorrow.
Then came our wild west cowboy experience….. the unusual ride on the horse simulator. Much to our surprise it revealed some lost lost cowboys in our midst with “Yipee’s” and “Giddy up” being heard again and again.
As for the arena how they enjoyed those ponies. Their smiles beamed from ear to ear, their excitement reached an all time high and their confidence sored as their cowboy experience came to an end, and just like any good cowboy is worthy of a good square meal how they enjoyed a sumptuous meal that filled the stomachs of our wild west cowboys.
Staff in the facility were great with our service users and the restaurant staff couldn’t be more helpful – Thank you all for giving us a fabulous day.
