A small Cowcaddens group of service users and staff s enjoyed a summer break at Southport in August. We set off by mini- bus and arrived in time for dinner. We all scoffed a Chinese meal , then relaxed in the holiday flat watching TV and playing games. It felt like home from home as we went there last year too. The next day a few of us went out a walk into Southport to go shopping and to grab a bite to eat. Others wanted to stay indoors and just chilled and had a lazy day. We then enjoyed a full day to Liverpool where the men went to the football stadium and superstore and bought some new clothes. From the picture you can see that they really loved it. The ladies enjoyed a day’s shopping and we met up for lunch at a pub by the water. On our last day the weather had taken a turn for the worse as it was raining, but that didn’t dampen our spirits… no… we soldiered on, being used our Scottish weather and we enjoyed our last day in Southport.
