This months recipe is from Ina 🙂 Breakfast wraps!
Ina bought a version of the breakfast wrap frozen from a supermarket. she liked the idea but the items themselves were disappointing. Yvonne suggested making them from scratch at home. The finished wraps were much tastier than the shop bought ones.
Ingredients; 1 Flat bread, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 or 3 mushrooms, 1 tomato, a slice of cheese and a wee bit oil.
Method; Chop the sausage into bite size chunks, wash your hands again. Using a different chopping board and knife, chop up the veg. This is very important. Fry the sausage and veg in a little oil. When ready keep warm. Clean the frying pan and add a beaten egg to the pan with a little oil. Swirl the pan to coat. Gently cook until the egg is set, then roll the egg into a cigar shape. Cut the egg into small pieces. Take the flat bread and place the sausage, veg and egg in the middle. You can add some sauce if you wish. Then fold the bread. There is a picture above to copy how.
