Garfield is a first floor city flat, with one bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Whilst on-duty staff do not stay overnight at this location they can always be contacted if assistance is required.
This flat is suitable for a single person who has attained the abilities required to cope with greater independence. Very often this is the final stage in the process prior to an individual moving on to his or her own tenancy. Here the person can experience what it feels like to live alone and have full control of household maintenance and budgeting. The service user enjoys the benefits of independent living, but with the comfort and security of staff assistance, if required.
