Description.
Sessional Residential Care Worker is Accountable
to Residential Managers
Main Purpose of Post
-
Working in various locations with service
users to provide mental stimulation & offer general support & further
enhancement of quality of life.
-
After appropriate induction
training, support and care for service users in line with Hayfield policies
and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
-
Ensure appropriate personal
care and support for service users, retaining the principles of dignity,
privacy and respect at all times.
-
Be involved in programme of
activities appropriate to service users’ needs, health and well-being.
-
Be involved in developing
effective communication systems with service users.
-
Contribute to developing
Care Plans and following Goal Plans.
-
Liaison with others about
daily outcomes and ongoing developments.
-
Familiarise yourself with
Hayfield Policies and Procedures, including Health & Safety matters and
Confidentiality aspects.
-
Availability to work
shifts (day, evening and weekends).
Carry out
any other reasonable duties that may be required.
