Hayfield offers an extensive range of support services to Deaf people with additional care needs resulting from Mental Health issues and / or Learning Disabilities.  Join our dedicated team to make a positive difference to their lives.  We offer a safe, therapeutic and facilitating environment which encourages people to achieve personal fulfilment and achieve an enhanced level of independence.  These challenging posts require applicants to have relevant care experience combined with a positive, enthusiastic and sensitive approach.

Hayfield offers comprehensive training and development to their work force, however, knowledge of Deafness and use of British Sign Language is an advantage.

 

 

Current Vacancies

Residential Support Worker

£18,321 - £20,388 p.a., 37.5 hours, including sleep-overs £32.49.  SVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred.

 

Day Service Support Worker 

£19,830 p.a. 37.5 hours.  SVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred.  1 year fixed contract.

 

1 to 1 Support Worker, (Contract for duration of person’s placement)

£14,340 p.a. 35 hours.   FEMALE applications ONLY under Section 7 (2) of the Sex Discrimination Act. 

 

Relief Support Worker, Days/Evenings/Weekends

£7.02 to £8.03 per hour, as and when required.

 

 

All posts are subject to PVG Scheme and two written references
