To
be accountable, in the first instance to the Deputy Day Care
Manager.

To
clean staff offices, dining room, gymnasium, corridors, toilets and
general areas as designated in the Day Centre.

To
ensure appropriate standards of cleanliness and hygiene are
maintained in all areas.

To
ensure supplies are maintained in relation to cleaning materials,
toilet rolls, paper towels, soaps etc.

To
ensure all cleaning equipment is used appropriately and that any
faults or malfunctions are reported to management immediately.

To
be prepared to undertake training as requested by management, which
is relevant to the job description.

To
be able to work unsupervised and use initiative as appropriate.

To
follow a set and agreed daily routine to clean the day care centre.

To
be involved in ensuring that appropriate Health & Safety measures
and procedures are followed.
-
To
report any infringements or faults in the above to management
immediately.

Hayfield staff have a duty to carry out their work in a manner which
will never put employees, service users or others at risk, thereby
creating a safe working environment.

Any
other reasonable tasks from time to time as required by the Managers
or Director.
