Job Description – Cook
Responsible
to the Deputy Care Manager
Key Responsibilities
-
To
undertake the responsibilities required for cooking and preparing of all
food within the Day Care Kitchen for the Dining Room.
-
To
prepare varied and healthy option menus.
-
To
maintain a high standard of service in all areas of work.
-
To
complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, ordering, stock control, menu
preparation.
-
To be
responsible for health, safety and hygiene within the kitchen and storeroom.
-
To ensure
full compliance with the Food Safety & Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and
comply with statutory policies of Glasgow City Council.
Requirements

Friendly manner.

Clean and tidy
appearance.

Good organisational
ability.

Self motivated.

To have suitable
qualifications for the post.
