- Hayfield’s Aims and Objectives

people with additional disabilities can be identified and to ensure
appropriate strategies are implemented to meet those needs.
-
To
work with referring authorities, carers and Deaf people to draw up and
regularly review individual care plans for each service user, assisting
them to achieve their maximum potential.
-
To
provide an environment in which each individual can progress, either
towards development of the skills and confidence levels required for
independent living, or towards a significant enhancement in their
quality of life.
-
To
provide a range of residential and day care services to meet the needs
of individual service users as outlined in each care plan.
-
To
engage and work with other agencies and professionals to provide
additional services as deemed necessary and appropriate for each service
user.
-
To
provide opportunities for Deaf people to learn, make personal choices
and to develop their self-esteem.
-
To
ensure that each service user has access to a full range of health and
advocacy services as deemed necessary for their health and well-being.
-
To
be aware of current research into the psychological, social or emotional
difficulties experienced by Deaf people, with a view to developing or
improving services and facilities dealing with such difficulties.
